Ok. I have to say it. The cash for clunkers program seemed good. After all, anything that encourages consumers to buy more fuel efficient forms of transportation, it has to be good, right?Since our lawmakers have failed to pass legislation requiring higher CAFE standards for cars produced by american automobile manufactures, CFC will at least get the ball rolling the the right direction, right? I could go on and on with reason why this program seemed like a good idea, but nothing seems to get rid of that strange feeling in the back of my stomach. Come on, you feel it too, right?
From first time I read about CFC, something seemed a little off. The government will be giving consumers money to trade in their less fuel efficient cars for for more fuel efficient ones.
